ELGA Credit Union Partnership
Dear Students and Parents,
Your elementary school and ELGA Credit Union have formed a partnership to have financial education and deposit days in your child’s school. We want to thank you for allowing your child the opportunity to take advantage of this partnership by opening a savings account at ELGA. The program is intended to encourage students to save money and help them feel comfortable with personal banking.
A representative will be visiting your child’s school once a month for either financial education or deposit days. These accounts are actual savings accounts which may be accessed at any ELGA Credit Union location during regular hours of operation, online, and at the student credit union at your child’s elementary school.
Existing Members - If your student (s) currently has an account at ELGA Credit Union, please complete the information below and return to the school office.
New Members - If your child would like to participate, please visit a local branch to open an account or complete the Student Member Service Agreement Part 1 and return to your school’s office or email it to Meghann.firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your student is the primary account owner. Dividends will be reported to the student’s tax identification number. One parent/guardian must be joint on the account, both are welcome.
We also want to inform you that as a parent, you are now eligible to open an account with ELGA Credit Union. In fact, all immediate family members qualify for membership with our credit union.
