Schools of Choice Information & Applications
C-A is accepting School of Choice applications for enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year for a limited number of students who do not reside within the district's boundaries. We have limited openings at Dillon (K-3rd grades), Dye (K-5th grades), Randels (K-5th grades), and Rankin (K-5th grades). There are unlimited openings in all grade levels at Carman-Ainsworth High School and Middle School. 100% online learning option available for all buildings. Students will not be charged tuition and do not need a release from their resident district if accepted for enrollment. A two-year behavior report is required with each application.
Transportation is the responsibility of parents.
Applications will be available both on the district website and at the Administration Building, G-3475 W. Court Street, beginning Wednesday, May 19. The deadline for K-5th grade application is Tuesday, June 15. The deadline for 6th-12th grade applications is Wednesday, August 18.
If more students apply for a specific building and grade than available openings a lottery process will be used to fill such openings. All remaining students qualifying for acceptance will be placed on a waiting list in the event more openings occur.

Internal School of Choice Information and Application:
Please download and complete the following application if you are a resident of the Carman-Ainsworth district and would like your K-5 grade student to attend a different elementary school than the one that services your address. Applications will be reviewed in August and are subject to Principal approval. Students who were approved through Internal School of Choice for the 2020-2021 school year will be given priority. The building secretary will notify the parent/guardian once a determination is made.
