Dear Carman-Ainsworth Community,

I want to share an important update regarding district construction projects taking place this spring as part of our bond work.

First and foremost, I want to sincerely thank you; our families and community, for your continued support of our schools. These improvements would not be possible without your commitment and your vote to support the bond. Because of you, we are able to create safer, more comfortable, functional, and modern learning environments for our students. We are truly grateful for your partnership and investment in our district.

As we move forward with this work, we want to keep you informed of a temporary change. Due to the scope and timing of several projects, air conditioning will need to be temporarily turned off this spring at Rankin Elementary, Dye Elementary, and Carman-Ainsworth Middle School. We understand that this may cause some discomfort on warmer days, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this phase of construction.

This step is necessary to allow contractors to safely and efficiently complete critical upgrades. By taking these steps now, we are helping ensure that our buildings are fully prepared for the start of the next school year, with air conditioning systems up and running as we return in the fall.

Please know that we are working closely with our building leaders to support students and staff during this time and to minimize disruptions as much as possible.
