Dillon's Mission

Dillon Elementary students are continually soaring to new heights of learning in reading, writing, math and science. Understanding that students have different learning styles, Dillon Elementary offers interventions and extended learning time opportunities to support students needing more instruction in the areas of reading and math. Dillon Elementary also offers a Highly Abled Learners curriculum for those students who are proficient at their grade level and need an extra challenge. Dillon Elementary students are continually soaring to new heights of learning in reading, writing, math and science.

Dillon's Vision

Dillon Elementary staff, in partnership with the parents and community, will provide a quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate education that will ensure all children reach their potential and develop a love for learning.

All children can succeed. We educate the whole child so he/she develops mentally, physically, emotionally and socially. We create a safe and orderly environment. We recognize different learning styles. We implement age-appropriate practices to promote active learners and critical thinkers. We emphasize the values of respect, responsibility, and resourcefulness. We ensure that parents make a commitment to be actively involved in every aspect of their child's learning at home and at school. We offer Title 1 family nights throughout the year as well as a themed Kindergarten round-up evening in the spring for families of children enrolling in Kindergarten for the next school year.
