If you are not receiving your mailed newsletter; please contact us at 810-732-6290 to make sure your membership dues are up-to-date.
Don't forget:
- We are asking you to update your membership form to insure we have correct information on file. We are finding some incorrect phone numbers and out-of-date emergency contact information.
- Before venturing out in bad weather, be sure to check if the Center is open. Closure statements will be posted on our Facebook page as well as ABC12 and Mid Michigan Now.
- When you’re feeling ill, the best thing to do is stay home and rest. Please don’t come to the Center where your germs can be spread.
- Did you know we take short day trips monthly with limited seating? Call for information.
- Contact the Center if interested in applying for food commodity boxes thru the county.
- First AND Third Wednesday of each month Grief Support Group meets at 11:00 a.m.
- First Thursday of each month we are hosting the card game ROOK at 1:30 p.m. Volunteers will teach you how to play!

- Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. Tabata with Teresa. Tabata is interval training that consists of sets of fast-paced exercises each performed for 20-30 seconds interspersed with a brief rest of 10 seconds.
- Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m Floor Exercises with Teresa. Members need to bring a mat or blanket to lie on. Exercise will be targeting legs and abdomen. This is a half hour class

- Notary Services are available by appointment at the Center. Cost $5.00 for a Center member and $10.00 for non-members.
- FREE eye care clinic by appointment only on Tuesdays from 9am - 1pm at St. Luke N.E.W Life Center 3115 Lawndale Avenue, Flint. 810-239-8710.
- Mott Community College Dental Hygiene Clinic provides dental check-ups and cleanings to Genesee County residents ages 60 years and older. Call 810-762-0493 to schedule your appointment.
- Anyone who comes to the Center daily or weekly, we are asking that you pick up your copy of the Newsletter at the Center. We are trying to cut costs of printing and bulk mailing. Thank You for your cooperation.
- If you carry a cell phone, you should put an entry in your phone book for ICE (In Case of Emergency). Under the ICE place the name and number of an emergency contact person. If you have two names, enter the second contact person as ICE2. The reason being that if in an emergency and you are unable to communicate with the emergency personnel, they will look in your cell phone and call any of the ICE numbers you have listed.
