Board Appreciation
School Board Appreciation
January 2024
Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools is joining nearly 600 school districts across Michigan to celebrate January as School Board Recognition Month.
We are so appreciative of the work of our Board of Education. Board members have supported district initiatives to ensure that Carman-Ainsworth remains committed to student learning and is successful in achieving its vision; A Collaborative Community Working Together to Guarantee Learning for Every Student. Their focus is on our staff and students and to promote Carman-Ainsworth Schools as a district dedicated to our families and community. Celebrating School Board Recognition Month is one of the very small ways to express appreciation for all they do. Board members received a certificate of appreciation and a book was donated in their name to the media center in each building for students to enjoy.
Even though we are making a special effort during January to show appreciation for our school board members, we recognize their contributions reflect a year-round effort on their part. No matter what challenges lie ahead for our district in 2023, our school board members will continue to govern to improve student achievement and provide exceptional education for all our community’s children.
