Rob Cummings

A 1976 graduate of Carman, Rob was a two sport standout. In football he was a punting specialist, earning All-State Honorable Mention two years running, and invited to "walk on" at Michigan State. In Track he won Metro League Championships in the 120 yard high hurdles and the 180 yard lows junior and senior years, setting records of 14.3 and 19.3 seconds. At the 1976 State Track meet he was crowned State Champion in the 120 high hurdles in the time of 14.5. He ran track at MSU for two years before injuries limited his performance.
