Valerie Madill-Gibbs

A 1983 graduate of Ainsworth, Valerie lettered four years on the boy's golf team. She was the first girl to receive All-Metro Honors on the Boy's Second Team. She was also voted to the Michigan Girl's All-State Team senior year. She lettered four years at the University of Michigan; as a freshman she shot low team score at the Big Ten Championships. Valerie won the Golf Association of Michigan's Tournament of Club Champions, two Publix state titles, and eight club championships at Atlas Valley Country Club.
