Jeff Walt

A 1979 graduate of Ainsworth, Jeff was the Class "B" District and Regional Champion at 119 pounds in 1977 and 1978. He was two time Metro League Champ in 1978 and 1979. In 1978 he was the Class "B" 119 pound State Wrestling Runner Up. He qualified for the Greco-Roman Finals in Europe in 1979, then entered Eastern Michigan University on a wrestling scholarship. He was also a member of the 1977 Cross Country Team of Champions and returned to Ainsworth as Assistant Wrestling Coach under Ron DiGiacomo.
