John Determan

A 1979 Ainsworth graduate, John lettered in cross-country and track all four years. During a phenomenal senior season he won 16/19 meets, setting nine course records. He was a Metro League, regional, and county champion, earning All State Honors his senior year as he finished second at the state meet. His school record time of 15:07 for the 5K run stands alone...maybe forever. He lettered in cross-country and track at Western Michigan University for three years.
