This week is Carman-Ainsworth’s Homecoming.  This week is Spirit Week at Randels. I have listed the daily activities at the bottom of the newsletter.

This week we will graph our birthdays.  Please help your child learn when their special day is.

Library day is Thursday.  The children will bring their library book home in a library bag.  This is their library card.  The book and bag should be returned every Thursday.  (The cost is $1.00 to replace the library bag.)

Keep sending in the empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls.  We will make the skeletons on Thursday, October 3.   Your background check must be completed in order to volunteer.

We will have Mystery Sack Show and Tell on Tuesday featuring the letter A.  Practice with your child two clues that they can give to enable the class to guess the object.    Since this is a mystery, encourage your child not to tell what their object is.  Please put only ONE item in the sack.

By the end of the week I will have introduced the following words… I, a, can, like, to, the, see,  my, red, yellow, blue.  Whew!  We are on the move. J  Keep practicing the flash cards. I plan on doing a mid-marking period assessment on Friday. I will update flashcards next week.
