Here are a couple free online language games that could greatly benefit your son/daughter.  As they do games, can they not only get the right answer, but can they verbalize why?  Being able to put into words the definition of a word/phrase (even one they are familiar with) or why the words match, is a more advanced language skill.  This is great area to be working on.
