I have been teaching for 22 years!  I have been teaching with Carman Ainsworth for each of those years!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Central Michigan University.  I earned my Master's Degree from Oakland University.  I have extended my education even further through Marygrove College.

I have been teaching at Rankin for 12 years.  Previously, I taught at Carman Park.  

I live in Grand Blanc with my family which includes my husband, Bob, Max, 13, and Wyatt, 11.  We have also opened our home to our dog, Louie.  We added a cat to our group a couple of years ago.  Her name is Lexi.

In my free time I LOVE TO READ!!  I read 14 books just this summer!  I also like to see movies, do crafts and garden

This summer we spent a lot of time outside. This summer we visited the beach in Port Huron, visited Indiana, went to the Lapeer Rec Center to swim and watched a lot of Little League baseball! My son Wyatt won a kayak last fall, so he was able to try it out on Lobdell lake this summer.  My son, Max, is involved in robotics so we've also been busy with that.

One of the highlights of the school year is the trip we take to camp.  We come back with so many great memories!
