PsychologyProjectThe Digital Media LogOBJECTIVE:To gain a better understanding of how current events apply to the study of psychology.
This assignment will be typed in Word (or at least saved as a PDF file) and submitted through Blackboard.
CRITERIA:· Locate sixteen articles from online periodicals or traditional magazines & newspapers that relate to psychology or have a psychological perspective then read & respond through summation & critique.
You should have two (2) articles from each of the following areas:
- Abnormal Psychology
- Childhood or Elderly Issues
- Heredity & Environment
- Memory & Thought
- Social Psychology
- Stress & Health
- Workings of the Mind & Body
·The Title Page should be the first page of your Media Log. Please see example at the end of this document.
· The Abstract should be a summary of the project. The abstract should include a summary of what you have learned, new psychological perspectives that you have gained, ideas you have about psychology and the media, and a general overview of your project. Please see example.
· APA Documentation for each article must be present for each article. All articles must be current for this semester.
·Summarize each article in paragraph form using interrogative questions (who, what, where, when, why), describe how it relates to the subtopic, and include a critique paragraph of the article (your opinion).
You should place a title on the top of the page (example; Abnormal or Workings of the Mind & Body) and organize the binder alphabetically by subtopic. See example below!!
