    Welcome to Carman-Ainsworth High School.  This year I will be teaching English 9 and Accelerated English 9.  In hopes to make it a great year and keep you informed of everything we will be doing in class, please subscribe to the Remind app and check your child's Google Classroom account regularly.  These applications will allow you to have access to instruction and materials used in class each day.

    Students will have reading almost every day for homework.  It is essential that they are provided, and sometimes mandated, time for this activity; please be diligent about this time as it will have the greatest impact on your child's success in ALL of their classes.
