Technology Club 2008-09

This year we started out learning how to navigate the program Google Earth. It is a free and useful download as we found in technology club. You can download the program by clicking on the words Google Earth.
Another thing we will be working on this year is our ability to make a PowerPoint presentation. We are going to start by creating a MS PowerPointMS PowerPoint presentation that will raise awareness of animals on Michigan's endangered species list.

Technology Club Going Green

Rankin Elementary School was given trees from the Genesee County Conservation District to plant around the school.

This is Austin and Trever planting a Birch Tree.

Birch Trees were used for many occasions like carrying embers of a fire

and for dug out canoes.

Our Tech Club planted trees to make our school

green. We picked up trash too, it was fun. We worked together to make a happy school.

Technology titans have been planting trees, Austin, Trever, and I planted a High Mountain Ash on the south side of the east part of the parking lot.

Mr. Andersons class planted pear trees outside the school as a class activity.
